The time that I feel most at peace is in the early morning. I am an early riser, waking up most mornings before 6:00 and definitely before sunrise. I've found that this time of day emits a tranquility like none other, even better than sunbathing on a coaxing ship on the Pacific on a lovely day. No one is up this time of day, and the only noises are an occasional vehicle hissing by when it's raining or the faint clank of the heat generating within the vents.
Peace is something I try to feel at all times. Do I do it all the time? NO. But I'm aware when I'm not. Its not always easy, but it is possible.
I go for walks or runs at 2-3 am. I find I love when everyone else is asleep and I'm walking quietly in the shadows. I anchored my boat in some bays and got rocked to sleep by the waves. I woke up to a glass pond in the morning. Most beautiful site and evening of my life.

When I am in a silent but protected place. I love natural parks but if I am alone I don't feel totally at peace. Being a woman is not always easy.
