What's your favorite board game? - best responses from participants

  I haven't played a board game in years, but Monopoly was a favorite. Parcheesi? Backgammon? Prefer bridge (except people get too serious), spades, hearts, or one of those... even Canasta. An old card game called "Pit" was loads of fun, too.
